It goes on the Côte des Blancs, Grand Cru of Oger, Champagne, the title of “World Champion” of the tenth edition of the International Challenge Euposia, the only one in the world reserved only for sparkling wines produced with the classic method of bottle refermentation, which it takes place according to the rules of the Grand Jury Européen. Confirmed the awards for sparkling wines produced with native grapes, for the first time the prize also awarded the Biological and biodynamic category. Host nation of this edition, Croatia.
At the end of a very tiring two days , with more than 150 competing samples from eleven different countries and eight Italian Appellations, the International Jury led by Riccardo Cotarella (president of the “ Italian Association of Oenologist-AssoEnologi”), decreed these results :
